North Potomac / northern Rockville Preschools?

Anonymous
We are considering these preschools for our daughter, now 3 and fully potty trained, to start in September (or as soon as a spot is available; she can stay at her current daycare as long as necessary). We do need preschool plus aftercare (9am - 5:30pm). Any comments on these, or suggestions for others we should look at?

Academy Child Development Center at DuFief ES
Georgetown Hill
Franklin Montessori Rockville
Primary Montessori Day School
possibly Chesterbook Academy Gaithersburg (across from Rachel Carson ES) but it's a bit far

(I am not interested in Goddard, KinderCare, or Children's Manor Montessori.)

Thank you!

I know families from that area that attend Geneva Day School and seem to like it.

Thanks. Lone Oak and RSCC are both too far--I need to park at Shady Grove Metro to get to work. I toured Nanda a few years ago and didn't really like it, but now I can't remember why. Any more comments on it specifically?

OP here, just looked it up and yes, its in King Farm. Location-wise it would work. Any more specific comments about the school?

OP: curious why you are not interested in the 3 schools you mentioned). We did a tour at Children in the Shoe and it is play-based curriculum. Seems solid except that I didn't like that it's part of an office building and the playground is part of a parking lot. It's closed off but there isn't a whole lot of space.
