Russia really should get to the bottom of this. It seems really suspicious how Wagner leaders died. I guess no one cares? Weren’t they Putin’s go to guys?

It seems likely that the plane went down due to a planned explosive that was set by Russian security forces. No one - not even Prigozhin - gets to do a Thunder Run to Moscow and live. Not in Putin's Russia. The moment he led his Wagner convoy north to Moscow, he became dead man walking.

I had never heard about this donbass region prior to the war. Now I am learning what I can about it.

It seems like many of the people living in this region would like to be part of Russia.

It also seems like ukriane is very corrupt.

Like I read about the former defense minister who took a billion dollars, which even Ukranian president Zelensky seemed to acknowledge.

I see our problems at home every day, and I wonder if our money isn’t better being spent at home.

I also see Putin who, while crazy and cruel in many respects, at least claims to respect Christianity. It seems like being a Christian is a bad word in much of America today, at least according to the television.

Note the first sentence "protect the independence and security of our state". Do they foresee an issue other than Ukraine? It almost sounds like they're assembling men who could cause issues domestically (e.g. drain the country of males who cause trouble, leaving only the FSB, police, and party loyalists at home?). This is also plausible since they're changing the rules again about who is able to serve - specifically anyone who could pose a danger to the regime.

I would warn that the last two articles are techniques to de-sensitizes the Russian public to the unthinkable that would 'shock the conscious' of a normal person as well as lower the guard of western countries to discount the threat; e.g. repeat over-and-over again until they offer no resistance or reaction.
