You can get some tall-ish fiddleleaf figs and snake plants from Home Depot's website. Like about 30" tall including the pot. They're pretty inexpensive, too.

no, they are crazy expensive at garden centers. Giant sometimes has them on sale. Ikea has them cheap. Home depot/Lowes or whatever. They might need a little more tender loving care, or a bigger pot (buy a cheap one at Marshals or TJ Maxx), but you'll still end up saving $$.
