| I want to learn to dress like the attractive young women in NW DC, McLean, Bethesda or Potomac. I know they're all very thin, have nice highlights wear expensive bags and shoes. If you are one of these women, give me tips! |
Hilarious, OP!

| Be thin, get highlights, buy exoenisve bags and shoes. |
| I'm in Bethesda, but I'm chunky #doingitwrong |
| Anne Taylor. |
If you want to look middle class. |
|
| Be thin. Get highlights. Wear an expensive bag and shoes. |
| You know who has an incredible wardrobe? President Meyer on VEEP. She always looks phenomenal. Dress like she does. |
| Wear very simple, tailored clothes. Make sure everything fits well and is not trendy or with cheap labels. Simple gold or silver jewelry. Spend money on expensive bag (Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton) sunglasses and shoes/boots. Have a nice expensive coat and some expensive scarves (Hermes, Burberry). Keep your hair cut simple and well groomed. Short polished or buffed nails. Minimal makeup but enough to look fresh. You're better off in a pair of Levi's and a white Oxford if you're shoes are good and your bag is good. That's the trick. |
| OP, you are exhausting. What happens when we create you, help you snag a man, and then you are constantly on here posting about how to have an Executive house? No, my nerves cannot take it. We are cutting you off now. |
| You can pull of the above even if. It thin as long as everything fits and the accessories are polished and expensive looking. Forgot to mention a few cashmere sweaters. |
| If you aren't wealthy, you can't look the part. They will spot last season's dress a mile away. |

Thank you so very much for all the wonderful tips ladies! I am seriously impressed with all the great suggestions. Question for highlights; can I get highlights if I have dark hair? Right now I just wear my hair down and its uncolored since I am told I have beautiful black hair.
Could you recommend any nice ballet flats for me? Bags? Sunglasses? |
