Scott has been kind of cutoff the purse strings with the new Hulu deal. Also might change with serial cheater Tristan.

I bet there is a monetary arrangement with Scott. Kourtnry keeps him in some deals and he gives her full custody. Plus the Kardashians only have children with unstable/unrealiable men who can’t be the primary parent for whatever reason or really don’t want to be. I don’t see Scott bringing Kourtney to court for 50/50 custody. And I don’t see Tristan doing that either. They want to see their kids when convenient and travel around with various women whenever they want.

They also seem to have some rule where all kids must have the same dad, no matter how messed up that person. I suppose they don’t have the best taste in men so better to deal with one dramatic situation and not multiple?

Well not really...Kourtney is going to have a baby with Travis at some point.

Helping his famous murderer pal get off, what an upstanding guy. If he was such an amazing dad/guy why'd Kris and he divorce.

They are each playing their roles to keep the public interested and tuned in so that you will increase their numbers for the monetary gain.

I scroll right past their drama. Each party know what they signed up for---the circus.

+1. It shows you how desperate the Kardashian side is. They're washed up and desperate, scraping the bottom of the barrel with these latest stunts. Their show is on Hulu for Christ's sake. Nobody cares about this family anymore.

Nobody is going to watch this Hulu show and we'll never know it because Hulu doesn't have ratings. They've been "over" for several years, they only exist in gossip pages and that gets increasingly pathetic because they have to stoop lower and lower to generate interest.

I love Hulu, so I'll be watching

It cracks me up how Fat Joe does not conceal his disgust at how “Skete” is handling things.

I have to agree.
Kanye has mental issues and admittedly crossed the line w/both Pete and Kim.
But it was a cheap shot for Pete to tell Kanye that he was in bed w/his wife.
By staying silent these past few mos, he was making Ye appear as a raving idiot.

Now however he is just adding pure fuel to the flames and is feeding into Kanye’s whims.
He should keep his mouth shut because when the kids grow up & hear about how Pete called their Father an “Internet b-word” they will lash out at Pete.

Kanye asked Pete where he was — and Pete told him. Are you at least as worried about “when the kids grow up & hear about…” all of the very nasty and very private things that their own father has put out there? It’s interesting that you, and so many others are faulting Pete for “provoking the bear” when no one — but Kim — has protected Pete from the very harmful actions of that bear, or even made genuine suggestions about containing that bear or getting that bear some help. If nothing else, having some genuine response to all that Kanye himself has initiated might seep in IF Kanye can get to a point where he’s able to work more effectively on his own considerable mental health issues.

FWIW, when Kanye was nastily teasing Pete about Pete’s own mental health issues, I think Pete’s response was incredibly kind and genuinely helpful, and might even be pivotal for Kanye—if he can get to a point where he’s able to hear it.

I guess one silver lining is that people are more openly discussing mental health issues and issues related to domestic violence and emotional manipulation. It would be great if this could lead to building accessible systems of intervention.

The mature thing for all of them (and I am surprised that the lawyers and handlers haven't pushed for this) is to remain silent when Kanye pokes the bear. Pete shouldn't respond. He isn't anyone to this family or kids yet. Kim shouldn't respond publicly as she is going through legal proceedings. If Kanye wants to showcase his issues publicly, let him, but I would not be responding. Get off the damn twitter.

I agree with you. So, Kim, and Pete, as far as we know, did “the mature thing” for several months. And Kanye’s harassment of them persisted to the point of quite serious threats. So, again, let me ask the question: What protections are in place as Kanye escalates the “issues” that he has chosen to “showcase….publicly”? While I don’t know what—if any — interventions are even possible, “let him” continue to be threatening and abusive isn’t the right answer either.

I’m not a fan of pop culture. I realize, though, that part of the reason I haven’t been able to block out the escalating Kanye - Kim debacle is that it highlights the types of harassment that many women have experienced, that often get brushed aside rather than being recognized as something that appropriately and critically requires intervention. I felt really heartened to hear Trevor Noah’s take on the issues that really are bigger and more far-reaching than the dramas of the tabloid stories.

^^ And Kanye is now attacking Trevor Noah on IG. He posted a picture of Trevor and calls him names in the caption. He’s also doing the same to D. L. Hugely who spoke about Kanye in a recent interview and said what he’s doing is harassment and if it were his daughter he’d do something about it.

I wonder why Kim hasn’t gotten a restraining order?

I can't imagine how Kim feels looking down the barrel of her children's mental health in the future. And trying to co parent with such a nut job.

A restraining order for what though?

People in this thread keep saying he’s threatening and harassing kim and Pete. And that he’s so dangerous he shouldn’t be allowed to see he is kids unsupervised. I’m asking why they think Kim (or Pete) have not gotten a restraining order.

I can’t speak to Kim or Pete, and don’t know California law, but the parent being harassed may often be reluctant to call the police on their kids’ other parent. Although Kim has security, restraining orders can enrage the volatile parent while failing to protect the parent being harassed.
In addition, threats often get brushed aside rather than taken seriously, so the person filing might be in even more danger once the harasser knows that they’ve filed.

I imagine what Kim might want is for Kanye to seek treatment for his mental health issues. Since there doesn’t seem to be anyone in his life who can compel him to do this, it’s a terrible situation. “Danger to self or others” is a high standard to meet, and I have no idea how to enforce this with a high profile celebrity who likely also has security.

If her childrens' mental health were the priority, she could just lay low, get off social media, lead a private life. Kanye's obviously feeling a narcissistic injury, with her new boyfriend etc. He would be more likely to leave her alone if she were not so public.
