The news media is just scared. Caving into Republican talking points and afraid of the backlash they will get, somewhat validates their approach of claiming everything is stolen as it gets results at least in delaying an outcome. If their stat models say it’s over, then they should call it regardless of the conspiracy theorists anger.

Who cares if it's called or not. Count the votes. It'll be fine

Agreed for the official decision the votes get fully counted, as in all races. That could be said of all the elections, we don’t have 100% vote count in any of the thousands of elections from Tuesday. Should the statisticians not have called the Senate race for Schumer, the full vote count won’t be finished for weeks?

By not calling the race, if the numbers say it should be, then the media are giving in to the angry conspiracy theorists. In a small way, but still….

Calling it before the votes are counted feeds conspiracy theories. Waiting doesn't give in to anybody

Relax. It will be fine.

The states do not “call” elections. They certify them a week or more later after they receive the certified returns from each county. No election is official yet.

It’s the media that call elections where the winner is no longer in doubt, and generally the loser concedes and everybody accepts what the result will be when the final count is certified. There’s no conspiracy.

Boebert is ahead by about 400 votes with 96% in.

Tshibaka currently has a slight lead, but I'm hopeful that most of the D votes would list Murkowski as a 2nd choice, so maybe she'll pull ahead in the reallocation?

That is the expectation but we won’t know for a while.

They just uploaded votes from Otero County where Boebert was winning by a wide margin.

Several thousand votes still need to be counted from Pueblo, where Frisch has the advantage. I think he's going to win.

Only hope for Frisch: Pitkin County where 80% of the votes are in and he's winning by 79%.

Possibly also Garfield County where 90% of the votes are in and he's winning by 57%. But the other counties are locked in with more than 95% of the votes processed.

There are almost 8000 votes still to be counted in Pueblo.

Sounds like there are still a few thousand in Pueblo per the above. The advantage is only 400 votes. It doesn't take much to swing it when its that narrow.

Yes, the math is highly in Adams favor. It would be a complete weird scenario for Boebert to win at this point.

I saw her restaurant also closed a few month ago, it was a big money loser anyways. Surprised to find out her husband makes 500k a year, so they will be fine. Maybe she can take up a different hobby than politics, would be good for everyone.

Her husband got his gig only after Boebert was elected. It would be interesting to see if he still keeps his job in the event of her loss.
