Define the Dating Leagues?

What are the different leagues in dating?

What league do you fall under?

What about your spouse?

Are you evenly matched? Why or why not?

Has anyone here dated/married "out" of their league?

I had an ex-gf who definitely thought so. One of her reasons for breaking up was "I offered no social advancement."

In retrospect, she did me a huge favor. We don't see the world in the same way at all.

Hard question.... do you mean like looks league, education league , social league? In that case you will vary in each league, maybe great looking but no education but from family with money.

Family with money is different from family with social status.

How can any adult take this trifling high school bullshit seriously?

I used to think "she is out of my league" and after getting to know those women realized they are out of my league. Being in a "league" has nothing to do with whether someone has character, is a good person and is empathetic to others.

OP, I think you've taken the league idea too literally. I think good matches are between people who match up, but their score is a total of attractiveness, fitness, intelligence, employment current and likely, wealth, mental stability, health, and whatever else you think is important. Only you can say if someone adds up in your eyes.

Looks league is the main one. Looks differential is the barrier people are least likely to cross when it comes to dating. A hot girl in college is more likely to date a male model who dropped out of school than an ugly dude who goes to the same school as her (and is, therefore, in the same "education" league as her.)

People tend to date/marry within their social class. And people tend to be attracted to people who are the same level of attractive. When there is a difference there is usually something to offset it. Georgina Capman would not be with Harvey Weinstein if he were not Harvey Weinstein.

But "leagues?" That a figure of speech, usually meant as a compliment.

Just remember, in the end we all pretty much sit on the toilet the same way.

Lol. This answer is so dumb. If the girl is also smart she'll care about intelligence more than look.

But, as a people, we are hopelessly divided as to whether we stand or sit when we wipe.

Maybe she should. But she won't.
