| Anyone on the board have babies between ages of 38-44 or so? I think I might want another baby someday and need some words of encouragement. |
| There's a big difference between 38 & 44 when it comes to having a baby. |
| Had my 3rd at 40. (1st & 2nd 35+). So happy I did. Now 44, big difference. |
I had mine at 41 and 44, after being told at 40 I'd probably never have any. It can and does happen .

| Some lady in England had a baby in her 70s. |
yes both pregnancies |
| One and done at 38. |
| First at 37, second at 41. |
| One and done at 39 |
| First at 39, possibly one and done. |
Same. |

2 kids in early 40s. No difficulties, no problems.
Clearly, it is a problem for a significant number of people , but it's also not a problem for a significant number of people. |
| My last 2 (of 4 ) were at 37 and 44. The one at 37 was a piece of cake, the last one was fine except I was beyond exhausted the first few months. It is extremely difficult to conceive for most people after 40 and the chance of problems increases exponentially. |
| had my second at 41. now 43, trying for a third! |

I'm 41. Many of my friends have just had (their last???)babies in the past two years. I have a 2 year old, but I also didn't start until I was 36.
It would be pretty rare to have a baby at 44. 40 is quite common. |
