| Eve isn't terribly popular, but Eva is enormously popular and lots of them go by Evie as well. |

| In DC, Evelyn is #22 (tied with Amelia and Katherine), and a number of those will go by Evie. Eva is #50 (tied with a bunch of others), and some of those will be Evie too. |

Evelyn is original a boys name. Of course now no one would use it for a a boy just like Ashleigh and Leigh. |

I know two babies Evie in our circle - one for Eve and one for Evelyn. I love it, but it is pretty common.
