Just quit my job and got dumped, now what do I do with my life...

Quit my job without even a prospect of another. Was dumped by who I thought was the love of my life.

Now what do I do? Move to a new state?

Dh and I always joke that if we lost our jobs we'd move to Portland, Oregon and operate a food truck. Do you have any capital?

I would be planning a vacation! I mean, assuming money wasn't the issue.

You are still alive so that's a good thing. So get a new job, get a new man and keep it moving. Life is not over yet.

Is there anything you want to do that's not related to your former job/career? Like get a real estate license or get a masseuse license and start massaging people, this is an opportunity to turn your life around and do something that you really would love to do rather than just do for money. If you loved your former career choice, then get Crackin looking for a job just like with a company like doing what you love to do.

I'm sure it feels really scary OP - but wow the what a great opportunity. You literally can pick up and start over where-ever you want. Not many chances in life to do that (says middle aged federal worker with kids who feels stuck). Best of luck!

Sorry for the errors I am using my phone and missed some of them before posting

Sit with it for a while. It's OK. Don't sit forever, but you have some savings. You are young and presumably healthy.

Figure out what you really want to do, and then do it.
