Candy or other Ideas for filling a piñata?

Anonymous
Party will be in late June. Should I just fill the whole piñata with candy or other items? Also, this is our first time doing a piñata. Any advice as to how best to do it with 6 year olds? one swing each? blindfold or no blindfold?

We always go to the lego store and get two containers from the pick a brick wall.

The kids LOVE it more than getting candy.

One swing each. Not blindfolded. You could fill with little toys.

OP is hosting a party for six year olds. For six year olds and older blindfolded is better. The pinata won't last more than a few kids if they are able to see it.

Your rule is good for toddlers and preschoolers, but not school aged kids.

So much cheaper to get the fake Legos and fill it with them.
