If you get a spot at a school, do you then stop playing the lottery for your top choice? Or....Do you keep playing the lottery for the schools you ranked higher than where you were matched? It seems that once you integrate into the school community it would be hard to leave for a school you ranked maybe one or two spots higher. Are there a few schools that once accepted, there is little to no attrition?

Nobody can answer this for certain. You never know if a school is a good fit until you're there (I'd say for 2-3 years).
Stopped after we got into Yu ying
Stopped after we got into our top choice DCI feeder. Without a DCI feeder, we might have continued to play or might have moved in bounds for Deal.

A Deal feeder

We got into Mundo Verde last year and other than the occasional powerball ticket haven't played the lottery since.

We stopped after we got into SWS. But now that middle school is looming I hate that we have to start thinking lottery again. Total problem with the Eliot Hine feed - why assign the school as a feeder if you know that exactly zero students will attend. How is that good for either EH or SWS?
Watkins. The renovation plans look to be fantastic!

We got into MV ... But then realized it was not a good fit for all.
And we left by moving inbounds for a school so as to avoid playing the lottery again. |
