What school would you have to get into to stop playing the lottery?

We're at Lee and haven't looked at the lottery since we got in.

We're at ITS and haven't played since we got in. At one point I would have said we'd try for immersion, but we've been so pleased at ITS that it's no longer a priority to us.

same here (except we did lottery this year after all the warehouse talk; once location was announced we were set). I will say that no school is a perfect fit (this is our second - one a fancy private), so when I figured out Lee was a good school, I determined to stick with it. The idea of leaving good for the impossible fantasy of perfect, is foolish, IMO. As long as school stays good, we are in though 6th (and maybe 8th!). If the middle school falls through, I'd have to consider lottering at middle school to CMI and maybe ITS. And Latin for 5th is a possibility. But I'm not leaving for a different elementary school.

Mundo Verde after playing the lottery (for 2 different kids) for what felt like an eternity. We'll see how DCI pans out, but right now that's the plan...

Not PP or OP, but still interesting to see people post regarding where they would stay for that specific school (elementary or middle) even if it meant having to lottery for middle or high.

Obviously because all the Lee CMI and ITS posters will be attending their IB high schools

We stopped once both kids got into Eaton. Oldest still feeds to Deal, so we're off lottery for at least 3 more years.
