Epstein Files

I can't wait to know what's in those files!! Many of those rich and powerful men are going down. Good riddance to the pedos no matter what party they belong to!

+1 All of them should be exposed regardless of who they are and how wealthy or powerful.

We're never going to know. They've had time to scrub the files.

Why didn't they scrub the files from the beginning?

This will only be a vote in the house. The senate likely won’t vote and, if they do, trump will veto.

The Senate has to vote. I think it’s actually helpful that the votes will be right after Republicans got destroyed in elections last week. That has to be front of mind when deciding how to vote to protect pedophiles.

Wouldn't a Trump veto be a disaster for Republicans (not that he cares)?

The campaign ads will write themselves - and already are. Cruz and others are covering for pedophiles. Vote "no" on releasing the files and that is your fate in history - to be remembered lumped together with pedophiles and rapists and sex traffickers.

It is astonishing how blatant Rs are being about this. It’s like:

Mom: did you break my vase?
Kid: no
Mom: then where is it
Kid: I’m hiding it
Mom: let me see it to prove you didn’t break it
Kid: no

Why does the senate have to vote? Thune can just refuse to put it on the floor like Johnson did.

It’s because they think their own voters are total idiots.

Of the many disturbing things about this Epstein case is the fact that Clinton had secret service protection during that time. Are we to believe that the secret service who is essentially law enforcement, did not know and cover this up????? Did Clinton just give these guys the week off each time he visited the island? Seriously doubt it. It’s really depressing to think about how many were involved at multiple levels.

The petition requires a House vote? Can’t Johnson still refuse to schedule it? Who would hold him accountable?

Not just SS, but pretty much every intelligence agency in the western world had to know about this. It’s pretty safe to say at least some of them are in on it, and that’s probably why we’ll never see the files.

Is it a vote? I’ve seen “vote” and I’ve seen “signature” when referring to Griljava being the final one needed to approve the petition. If it’s a vote, then couldn’t a few decide to change their vote?
