St Michaels - go kayaking, hit the spa

Nice hotel downtown DC. Just four night of fun and relaxation with DW.

Of Savannah if you feel you need to travel.

Savannah in the summer???

Maine
Montreal

Do not go to Savannah after June. (Says a Southerner). DH and I have this "problem"-- albeit for a week. Thinking Boston and Cape Cod.

If you are a city person, Montreal. Otherwise Nantucket if you have the budget for a direct flight and a stay at a B&B. Or maybe Portland, ME if you have a smaller budget (check out flights on southwest).

I would do Maine! My other thought was wine country/San Fran. Or a beach trip - with no kids - I can't even remember what that is like

OP here. To all the Maine posters, anywhere specific? I've never been.

depends on when it is. Look up and see if there are any festivals/events in these places. Beer festivals, ComicCon, animal migration, etc.

Portland and bar harbor. Two nights each. Fly to Portland and fly home from Bangor.

Portland OR Bar Harbor. Otherwise waaaaay too much traveling for four nights. Both are great, but I'm partial to Bar Harbor so you can see Acadia.

I see that side but op should know they're under 3 hours apart.

Agree that bar harbor wins if picking one.
