Puerto Rico. Stay at Hotel El Convento. There is a morning flight nonstop that would have you in PR by 12 or 1PM. We've been in the summer multiple times and it's hot, but no worse than here. Plus if you stay in Old San Juan you have a nice breeze from the water.
