Can someone explain what’s so great about Usha’s figure? She’s thin and not particularly shapely. What am I missing? Is thin enough to qualify as “fab?” And to be sure, I think complaints about her bad fashion are exaggerated but so is praise about her figure.

In the previous administration, it was definitely a thing that he told women he preferred dresses to pants. Not a hard rule but everyone knew his preference. I don’t have a sense it’s as much of a thing this administration. I think he’s pretty out of it so not really promulgating fashion rules.

Most of us would rather have usha’s figure over melania’s figure and most designers would prefer to dress an Usha over a Melania. But I feel gross talking about women’s bodies in any detail so I’m not going to go into why. I think we should leave it at that and all move on.

It should be sooo easy to look good with what she's dealing with and with her resources, but she somehow manages to look crappier than half the moms heading into the office from the school drop-off line. It's kind of a feat? Like, "I'm at least at the Karen Pence level!" Is a pretty low bar for someone with herr natural good looks and a good 25+ year age advantage.

Can someone explain what’s so great about Usha’s figure? She’s thin and not particularly shapely. What am I missing? Is thin enough to qualify as “fab?” And to be sure, I think complaints about her bad fashion are exaggerated but so is praise about her figure.

She's thin, fit, and relatively petite. All the things I am not, lol. What do you mean by "particularly shapely"? She doesn't have (or need) breast implants. She looks good.

Who said anything about implants? Weird. As for particularly shapely, I mean just that. Her chest, wait, hip ratios aren’t particularly defined. Closer to ectomorph than hour glass.

Which is why she can wear basically anything and look good. My sister is like this and I’m always envious. Hourglass figures have a harder time looking tailored and elegant.

I really don't understand the "her body is amazing" argument. Melania's body is amazing. Usha's is...fine? She's thin.

Melania's body is bought and paid for (in more ways than one). Usha's is natural. I may not like Usha's style, but I admire her commitment to embracing her individuality.

I get that part, I just don't get the people saying her body is amazing.

I’d like to understand which is why I asked the question. I could disagree but honestly the only thing I’m hearing is slim = fabulous body, which does not make much sense to me. But I understand that thinness means a whole lot to some of you.

Most of us would rather have usha’s figure over melania’s figure and most designers would prefer to dress an Usha over a Melania. But I feel gross talking about women’s bodies in any detail so I’m not going to go into why. I think we should leave it at that and all move on.
