NYT put out a list of the most popular word aversions, some of which I don't get. That said, I have one that is like nails on a blackboard for me!
Per NYT some of the words are: -crevice -probe -flesh -ointment -gargle My only word aversion is PANTIES Ugh I HATE that word!
For my DD it's the word "moist", which does not bother me at all. do you have any word aversions? |

None. I love words. |

Fetus... but *love* babies. It's hard to feel connected to your fetus. Perhaps that's why most mothers say they're having a baby.

| Cluster |
| non-words like vacay, hubby, preggers, mani, pedi, totes, and other kinds of babytalk usually employed by grown-ass women. |
| Squishy |
Grown-ass |
| Not words but phrases. I hate titles that start with an -ing word: Serving Sarah, etc. They just make me cringe SO painfully inside. I'm not sure why. |
ew like that phobia about holes? |

I have an aversion to the phrase "true freshman". It cracks my husband up because I cringe every time a sportscaster says it.
There was no need to create this phrase. None. It's either freshman or redshirt. |
