How much did the engagement ring that you get for your fiance cost? How did you pay for it? Savings? Parents fronted you the money? credit card?

I agree. The ring was about $5K. I charged it, but I always pay off my credit card at the end of the month.

Mine was I think around 3k. DH financed it bc we were 2 yrs out of college and had no money to save. A few months we were married and used our joint income to pay off debts, including the ring.
