Yes, because a woman is nothing without a man.

No, but I think having some hot man with his wife and kids and money and businesses would eat him up from the inside out

You’re quite the strange woman and I’m being nice here . You agree with Pp that women don’t need men to live and yet you continue to insist with this fantasy of her bagging a hot man , it’s not happening . Men are not attracted to money , they’re primarily attracted to looks and it’s trappings ( sexual appeal, youth etc ).No matter how many times you repeat that to yourself hoping it materializes ,your new ‘idol’ isn’t going to bag a Denzel Washington or George Clooney . Give it a rest .

I am PP who said McKenzie doesn't need a man. There are plenty of young men who would babe with her for the lifestyle. In fact it would be easier for her to find a young man than a man of her own age. BEtter, too - young men are attractive, with plenty of time to spare, fewer sexual issues and even more emotionally available - older available men are ugly, cynical, sexually dysfunctional, calculating and eager to signal they can land a young woman. All they can possibly offer is money and that's one thing she 100% doesn't need.

Delusional as a description of what you just wrote is a gross understatement .

you are probably a single guy in his 40s who is still single and convinced he has plenty of options. i am sorry.

I dont care who that plain looking white woman marries she is not my idol, there is no black girl excellence happening there and guffaw to someone like her marrying a Denzel. Bless your heart.

You don’t care who she’s going to be with but you had no problem matter of factly positing that some hot man could take his place and enjoy his billions . Schizophrenic much ?

Lauren Powell jobs has model looks. She and Mackenzie are day and night .

at their ages, that is largely irrelevant. they are both old and won't be bearing any children to whatever man dates them. men who are attracted to them want lifestyle and companionship.

Summary: DCUM is scandalized because the richest man in the world picked an older, WOC over his white, skinny, vanilla-looking woman.

I still prefer blonde, blue/green, no body hair over the others.

41 pages of comments, mostly by women about other women's looks. Kind of sad.

MacKenzie is very nice and smart and actually down to earth, and now has gobs of money. She'll be absolutely fine.

Here is a vomit-worthy article that showed up on my feed about how Jeff Bezos is a "stoic":

Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos built a culture around frugality and constraint. Why? “I think frugality drives innovation, just like other constraints do,” he said. “One of the only ways to get out of a tight box is to invent your way out.”

Well, I am actually enjoying this thread: it really feels that it belongs more in the Entertainment Forum (with some of the Relationships aspects), and it was funny how quickly the whole thing became less of a new story and more like a Mexican telenovella.
I think the comments about looks are because we don’t have much to go by otherwise - just some photos of everyone involved and several screenshots of his love notes. The rest (including “devastating consequences for his children”) is pure speculation.

I just read MacKenzie’s one star review of her husband’s biography on Amazon where she points out precisely that - we don’t know what they all think and feel, and what their motivations were. That is why it so easy to focus on looks.

That is why I hope MacKenzie would “write what she knows” in her future books. It would make for a fascinating read.
