Meaningful games? You mean league games?

Sound like a parrot

Truth is the are trying to keep cost down to compete with DA. Truth Is, they can't do it.

says the DA parrot himself

I don't think that was a terribly common occurrence, because other girls who eventually made the team did go to multiple ID sessions.

That is similar if not identical to the email sent out today that we saw.

Thanks.

ws is doing the same process this year as they did last year. early offers + id sessions to complete the rosters. not sure what parents being told.

Are BRYC teams just unlucky? What’s the deal with the 04s and 05s? Should they be holding open tryouts rather than just invite only?

The 04s will be coached by the 03&02 coach next year. They will do great.

For their sake they better. If they don't the coach will start ignoring them and look for better players...

Even if they do ok, the coach will still treat them like crap and look for better players. Plus there's no way they'll get his full attention as long as he's coaching the his favorites, the 03s

My daughter plays for his 02 ECNL team and she has a great relationship with her coach, he has a fantastic relationship with his players which is why they all work so hard for him. He does have a very successful 03 team that have been together for years but what he has done for my daughter and her team is amazing. They have all gotten so much better. 2 teams qualifying for ECNL playoffs and having so many top schools looking at players is really cool!

They work hard for him because they are scared of him
As long your daughter can help him win, she'll have a great relationship with him.

If they win, he’ll treat them well. If these lose, he’ll sit in a chair and pout. After a losing game he will tell them they are worthless and not even fit for HS soccer. (He discouraged all his 03s not to play HS, btw) The 04s had him as a coach before. I am not sure why people think this is good coaching. Can you imagine your child’s teacher behaving in such a way....

I’ve not heard many positive things about that particular braddock road coach.

My daughter has loved every minute playing for him, our only regret is not bringing her to play for him earlier. The girls have to work hard but he has fun with them, is an awesome coach and we are very happy.
(I have never seen him sit down and pout)

Are any of the ECNL or DA teams still holding tryouts?

Parents always say that but the kids always say something different.
