The coaching is the issue. McLean has strong positive coaching, BRYC too. Vienna’s literally will taunt and humiliate your girls and call it development for the future. But people have figured it out and their numbers are dwindling. The word is out, keep your girls away from Vienna! Nothing positive to be gained. I dare you to ask ANY Vienna parent of a top girls team player. |

Parent of a top Vienna girl here on a very good Vienna team. We’ve been with the club for 6 years, have been very happy with the coaching, and I’ve never seen or heard of a Vienna girls’ coach taunting or humiliating a player. This feels like disinformation. |

Every other post on this whole board is disinformation, a troll, an out right lie or an insult. Lol McLean/their parents are butt hurt they don't "run things" anymore. Maybe 5 years ago, we were at a u little tournament in McLean. The u little age group we were in was like 4 teams deep McLean. It is simply a pay to play for a lot of them and it is a way to show off for the parents, similar to the mom, that weekend, who made sure to wear her W "whatever " news channel jacket both days so people would know she is a reporter/news caster and "recognize." You know, point and whisper that you see her and pay adulation from afar. It's like the rich parents who got caught paying to get their kids into more prestigious colleges. It wasn't necessarily for their lay about, half wit kid. It was because they felt like they'd have less to boast to their friends about if their kid was at a community college or Fresno State as opposed to USC. McLean parents want to be able to brag about their kid playing for McLean Soccer. It means less, at this time, and doesn't give them the plaudits it used to because now the kid who is in the school band actually had to try out to be there. The soccer kid's parent just wrote a cheque. |

Wow those scores are pretty bad. Is that a regular thing? Have they beaten anyone with a decent record? You have to look at the top (head coach) to see what the problem is. Is this why FVU is struggling? Make it make sense. |

mclean 2013/14 girls are very good. For 2014G, Bryc is dreadful and Vienna not far behind. Not that any of this matters because they will take the best kids who try out so feeder clubs don’t really mean much. So in reality, this is just an uneducated group of people chatting. |

Remember, this is still uLittle played in half a field. It doesn’t mean a lot, and high scores are the norm in 9v9. When you say have “they” beaten anyone with a decent record, I assume you are referring to Vienna. Their 2013s are 8th out of 23 teams with a winning record and +11 GD. They beat Reign, who sits 7th, by 4 goals. They beat VSA, who sits 3rd, by 2 goals. Vienna’s 2014s sit 7th out of 24. It is normal to see variance across years. Other years have been reversed, for example the 2010s, where the legacy Union team was almost entirely SYC, and Vienna was much stronger than McLean. |
