I definitely don’t want Trump back in office, but I really don’t want to vote for Biden

They have performed very well.

Stop this nonsense and get yourself together. Good God.

I think Trump is an autocrat and another Trump “presidency” would plunge the US into fascism, but I cannot get excited about Biden. Why can’t the Democrats come up with anyone better??

I guess you are still either in a coma or have your head stuck in the sand!

If only they paid attention to the economy, which *right now* is benefitting the middle class.

This despite Trump saying last week he hoped the economy would crash this year. Tell me cares about the middle class. He'd rather bankrupt them, than see the economy flourish under his political rival. Sad. And, VERY disturbing.

While I don't agree, at the very least, I can guarantee Biden isn't wishing that Americans suffer purely because of his ego.

I can't imagine Bush ever thinking that, let alone saying that out loud.

Biden has pursued the most pro-Labor policies of any President since LBJ. Among other things, his appointment to the National Labor Relations Board has been kicking all kinds of ass.

All you Biden lovers are just as nuts as the Trump lovers. You cannot be serious that Biden is awesome. You can comment that he may have some great advisors/staff and Congress I think has certainly helped push some Dem agendas through but him????!

The guy can't tie his own shoe currently. My tweens laugh whenever they see/hear him. Let's get real.. Biden is not truly doing much.

The whole pubic announcement of determining a response v. Iran for the killing of US soldiers is ROFL stuff. Just do it. You really need to spell it out in the media. Who does that?

Trump is a criminal and worse.

We have nobody who wants to be POTUS. It's a reflection of our society and very depressing.

NP - you are an idiot if you think a rock star appt to the NLRB makes Biden into some great POTUS. Let me take that apart..

1. It's an appointment. Nothing more or less. He had a whole bunch of names. They were all vetted. He got a short list of maybe 2-3. His admin came up with the list - so I would suggest maybe his staff knows what they're doing. Biden himself, had at least a 50% chance because my bet is his staff also boiled it down to if not 2 then just 1 and said - hey - you good with this? We think this is the guy. And he said yes of course.
2. The guy kicking all kinds of ass is the hero here. It's an appointment. Nothing more or less. The guy in the job doing well? He is doing the ass kicking and you should love him

If all you can come up with is that Biden has pursued pro-Labor policies of any POTUS since LBJ making him some great leader, you need some help. You need to find something else because that is not enough. Not in 2024. Not at all. I would say also to that point - his STAFF put that on the agenda. Not Biden.

What a President great is communication to the public, act as a figurehead globally representing US ideals. What Biden would need to do great to be counted as kicking ass is if he didn't announce to the world how the US is going to retaliate militarily to Iran and do it! What he can do great is not look like he is 100 and about to keel over and not act like Jill is in charge! Regardless of whether he is in charge or not, the optics make him seem like he's completely powerless.

And yet if he hadn't done these things you'd be pillorying him. FACT.

And we all know bad appointments can do a lot of damage. See the Trump administration.

And hey, who picked Biden's staff who you say are the ones who should get credit? That's right, Biden did! So he definitely gets credit for that. He gets credit for listening to his staff.

Can't give Trump any sort of credit in that field at all. He is an authoritarian who gets angry at the thought of not doing what he wants to do no matter what advisors say.

+1 What policies do people honestly think the GOP will enact that will be to the benefit of workers?

The influence of the rich and powerful on our two major political parties and the toxic nature of our political environment has driven our best and brightest people out of politics and into the private sector. This is how we wind up with a Trump vs Biden re-match. The days of Lincolns and Roosevelts seem long gone but they aren't. They'll be back.

Have retirement accounts started to recover? Yep. Did he pass an infrastructure bill? Yep. Has he managed to get a high number of judges confirmed? Yep. Does he support women's right to abortion? Yep. Has he restored dignity and decency to the White House? Yep.

Tell us what you specifically don't like about his policies, and what you think he should be doing.

two areas where he is failing are the southern border, and out of control violent crime in cities. The border is a policy choice that is 100% on him. In fairness, the POTUS does not have a lot to do with crime in major cities, but he owns it politically, because he was elected on the BLL/defund the police wave in 2020.

+1. The original post was that Biden is just like Trump in terms of caring about the middle class. The response was that he's done more for labor than any President since LBJ. The response to that wasn't a denial - like, by naming a President who has done more for workers. Nope, it was a complaint that Biden didn't, I don't know, personally go door-to-door helping middle class people. And then launching off into foreign policy arguments for some reason.
