I'm sure it's been said 100 times already, but you're voting for an entire staff when you vote.
I trust the staff in place right now over the revolving door of sycophants the last guy had. |
Yeah, everything is going swimmingly right now so why would we change? |
Biden's accomplished more than any Democratic President since LBJ. Trump is a known quantity. His administration was a dumpster fire and then he tried to overthrow our government when he lost (and that's not even getting into his crimes, sexual assaults, and defamation of victims.) Barring some campaign miracle by Haley, it looks like Republicans didn't change when they had the chance. So Biden it is. |
Biden has certainly achieved some significant far left policy victories and administrative changes. That's great for the left, disastrous for those of us who are not far left. |
Especially with the amount of legal-ish drugs the Trump admin was taking! I suspected at least some of them were high but now there’s proof. |
How anyone can listen to Kamala and saiy she is sane? Mayorka is a mess. Our department of energy is a mess. I voted for Biden and very disappointed. |
This. Next term will be even more radical. Enough. |
Nope. If you listen to the far left, Biden is the same as a Republican. |
I’m a moderate, and things have been looking pretty good for me. Especially considering the first year was the administrative equivalent of cleaning up a row of trap houses. Only so much you can do to flip a house when you need to replace the pipes and clean the smeared feces off the walls. |
Seriously??? I have not come across two bigger failures than Mayorkas and Blinken, I don’t want this staff again. Also, don’t get me started on Austin and Kamala Harris. |
The primary reason most Americans are disgusted by a choice between Trump and Biden in 2024 is related to doubts about their mental and physical fitness to perform such a demanding and important job until 2029. Others serving in their administrations may be secondary concerns but the most obvious weaknesses are at the top of the party tickets. |
I know a few people in the current "staff" who also worked for Obama. I know it is how it works in DC but after Obama most of the people I know went into private sector. Hearing them talk about their "interview process" was infuriating. They (allegedly) basically cut the line for all these big name consulting firms/ banks/ tech/ etc. The process for hiring was allegedly a lot less rigorous for them than for others. The issue is these same people complain about the Republican staff and the revolving door from private to public sector, but the Dems do it, but are hypocritical about it. I am not thrilled about Trump or Biden and don't know how I can vote for Biden. I have family in swing states who voted for Biden after voting for Trump in 2016. Now, they won't vote for Biden, but don't want to vote for Trump either. A relative in Wisconsin said they might just not vote! Some issues for them are the border, inflation (which honestly have you been to the store?) and the deficit. Most also have huge issues with student loan forgiveness as many of these people took multiple jobs to help pay for their kids colleges and those same kids (now adults) also worked or got scholarships to pay for university. They also worked multiple jobs after college to pay off the loans. No fancy trips, no avocado toast, no pilates classes, they worked and paid their debt. Some of my relatives even went to trade schools (and did better than some who went to college) because they could not afford university costs. It isn't right that they will have to pay the cost of the student loan forgiveness. I try to tell them that yeah, Biden is not great, but with Trump you don't know who you will get, and now he will surround himself with "yes" people who do his bidding. It is quite scary. I really don't see how Biden can win. Everyone I have talked to who had voted R throughout their lives or were moderate and voted for both parties will not vote for Biden in the next election. Something has to change and the Dems need to wake up. Maybe Michelle Obama will run at the end of be VP. Something needs to change. |
You describe countless voters right now. |
This! Except I am younger so my first vote was for (Bill) Clinton. I am not excited about another term for Biden, but it would be a million times better than another term for Trump. |
Delusional gaslighter. |
