Didn’t SJC lose to STA in that fall tournament last year?

Yeah but STA is the best team in the DMV every fall

This does seems to be true on this board. But SJC did not lose to STA last fall either way.

How will STA be this year? I thought they lost a lot of really good seniors.

St. John’s is going to a National type schedule. Looking for more of a challenge than the out of conference schools can provide. Probably a good call. No need to play mid level IAC and MIAA teams.

EHS has never committed to lacrosse, the only care about football and basketball for the most part.

Prep having boarding players is nothing new

Prep is now nearly 3x the size of Bullis, Saint Stephens, and Episcopal.

GP loves to make the argument that the big Catholic schools are too big & bad to compete against in most sports and that the academic standards in the WCAC are "beneath them". With that being said, Prep is significantly larger than any IAC upper school.

The argument that the boarding program is designed primarily for international students is a lock of s**t. GP has been recruiting athletes up and down the East Coast for boarding purposes for decades now.

Prep has almost as many boys as SJC. Prep used to be elite but now it's where kids who weren't wanted by Gonzaga go. Jesuit little brother.

Prep isn’t elite. Only winning the IAC because it’s a weak league and they are full of reclassed and out of state kids.

If IAC and MIAA teams are now deemed mid-level to the SJC faithful.... How did SJC do on the national stage last year?

Going 1-3 on the national stage is not that impressive

The Cadets beat BOYS Latin who came in 4th last spring in the MIAA Lost to Hill Academy, New Hope Academy, and Saint Anhony's.

A one-goal victory over Bullis is also not impressive when both STA and Landon beat them by 4 plus. Prep beat Bullis by 10+ goals.

They were missing the entire starting line up but we are winning 2024 not 2022

Atleast they played tough national teams. Seems odd that those three teams were in town and Prep didn’t play them. Ducking every good team. Except Ryken. Lol oh and when they played a MIAA team they got embarrassed.

Prep has a larger male enrollment than SJC and still refuses to play them.

Total chicken shit displayed over ther.

Several local teams wont play St. John’s because they know the outcome.

Entire IAC
Calvert Hall
STM
McDonogh - except for NHSLS and they lose.

STM and prep scheduled Ryken? Come on

Always amusing when Prep boosters start with the academic hall monitoring when they get curb stomped by SJC over athletics. You are not exactly St. Anselm's when it comes to academics or even STA. But keep trying, you might get there some day. Thomas Jefferson in VA is laughing at you too.

Is anyone from the IAC or MIAA playing SJC next year?

Was the Bullis game renewed at least?
