My best friend from childhood did this when she was in her early 20s. Once she found her bio dad, her mom confessed that she never told him about the pregnancy. My friend and her mom had a very strained relationship for a few years due to that.

+1 A friend's mom died unexpectedly and she did DNA test and found her real dad. She had a VERY hard time when she learned her dad never knew about her. She needed therapy for sorting out the feelings/things she could never discuss with her mother. PP you owe it to your daughter to tell the truth.
