It’s a cop. |
Charged so fast? How long do you think it usually takes to charge someone when there’s a video of them beating another person to death? |
| Going out on a limb and maybe the PP defending Memphis killer cops is trying to show what was going through the cops' brains. Like a parody. |
| This killing was more brutal than the George Floyd murder but it seems like there is less outrage. |
There is plenty of outrage but it is more constructive than outright riots which just turns many off. |
^^^^ riots and arson |
Former prosecutor here - of course any civilian doing such a crime is charged within hours or days at most in nearly all cases. When the defendant is very wealthy or a cop, then you see tip toeing prosecutors and slow roll out of charges - if at all. |
You forget that all of these officers are supposed to be on leave with pay for a year before anything happens.

| As expected (yet comments deleted multiple times) Monday has now come and this story is being buried in National news media. By next Friday, this will be ancient history. Pretty clear agenda and priorities the main stream media has (specifically racially oriented division) |
My first thought after seeing the video was this looked like a personal attack. |
The coverage is that a crazy lady thinks that running from the cops and resisting arrest didn't occur even though there is video of both things happening. This poor guy contributed do his own demise, like it or not. |
Not complying shouldn't have been a death sentence anyway. But he WAS complying and they were still getting more and more violent. I agree with PP that he understood that they were going to kill him, and he was trying to save his life by running. That's how it looks to me. |
Not at all. I got three push notifications from major media entities today that a sixth officer has not been relieved of duty. |
| ^^^ NOW been relieved of duty. |
