I thought it was Costco and then another mom told me Trader Joes-where is cheapest place to buy organic low fat milk for your kids?

You should be buying whole milk, not low fat.

Well she didn't say how old her kids are. It is completely fine for kids to drink low fat milk at a certain age...or maybe the milk is for her but she figured the moms on this forum might have a good answer. And either way she wasn't asking for your opinion. Grrrr

Well, how old are the kids?
Some kids *need* the regular organic milk.

Have not been to Costco in awhile but it was cheaper a few months ago.

WF, TJ's and Harris Teeter all have it for 3.99/half gallon. Wegmans, WF have it around 6/gallon.

Geez people. Maybe her kids are chubby. Maybe the doc told her to switch to low fat. Maybe it's none of your business what she gives her kids. Just answer the question she asked or don't answer at all.

Depends on the Safeway. Pretty sure I haven't seen it for under $4.50 at the Safeway on 17th. That store is more expensive than Whole Foods.

In the Fairfax area, it's over 4$/half gallon or close to 7/gallon.

Harris Teeter is where we get it. I've never understood why Costco isn't cheaper because they're such a value for other organic foods. I'm also admitted by the packaging for organic. Double boxed and 1.5 gallons? I'd rather buy 2 gallons than 1.5.

Giant's house organic brand or use coupon to buy Horizon or Stonyfield <$4.00

I buy from Whole Foods - organic and lactose free. A whole case is cheaper because for every 5 paid containers you get 1 free.
