Nothing about bathrooms. Sorry, bigots. Maybe time to move on to a new campaign tactic. Leave our kids alone.

This could fall under education for some

Obviously the bathrooms issue isn’t going to be a top issue for the majority of people, including those who believe that bathrooms should be separated by sex. I don’t think biological males should be able to enter female bathrooms for example. However that’s the least of my concerns. I care about the issues you mentioned far more and fall on the liberal end of the spectrum of these debates specifically when it comes to immigration and female reproductive rights.

Do you think it would be a bigger concern for you if you had a daughter who was a competitive athlete who came in second place to a trans girl?

I am a former D1 athlete myself and have two athletic daughters who have transgender friends. They fully support their friends participating in sports.

IMO, sports are more about participation than winning since you never know who you'll be competing against. Even cisgender competitors can be mismatched. Focus on the PRs and growth more than the W.

If anyone's panties are in a bunch, we could do the CA approach of extra medals if there are any overlaps.

Or if you had a special education student at risk of losing services? If you relied on free and reduced lunch?

I have a kid who receives SN services and I think it’s beyond disgusting how the Republicans are trying to pit vulnerable groups against each other just to score political points.

+1. I have a kid who gets IEP services too and I am 100 percent in favor of what APS is doing and also completely disgusted by Trump's attack on trans kids. He's not going to stop at trans kids, we know what he thinks of SN kids already.
