HRCS - anything you want to improve?

Anonymous
We all hear about how great these schools. For those families who currently go to these schools, are there any things that you do not like about your school or you think needs improvement? I am curious to know since my son is going to a charter school this fall. You can choose to name the school if you want. Thanks!

Better aftercare, less expensive. More language.

Would like to see library and separate cafeteria and gym instead of multipurpose room.

Hotter moms

Wish we had better playground options. We've had great teachers every year so I'm not complaining that much.

Yep, language and a real arts/music program. Our aftercare sucks and costs too much. Our PE is a ajoke, but I don't care about that except it tales time away from time they could use for language or arts/music.

Better discipline.

PE is now required in all Charters (with no added funding), and I think all our schools are trying to figure out what that looks like.

Our aftercare also isn't the best. I'd be happy if they just ran around outside for 2 hours.

Remediation and pull outs for kids who are reading below grade level in the target immersion language. The school only provides pullout and remediation in a kid's native language.
