Some thoughts:

I earlier posted that I didn't hate Ivanka's outfit. Never mind. I hate it.

For the posters who have not followed this thread so closely, Ivanka frequently wears white, probably for the same reason brides wear white. She wants us to associate her with purity, not crimes! She definitely didn't do any crimes you guys! And probably it's also a fake-feminist nod to suffragettes at random and inappropriate times.

Remember when Ivanka cut her hair a bit shorter and it looked so much better and less dead and miserable? That was neat.

I hope that I live long enough to read Arabella's inevitable memoir of this time. I don't think there's any possibility of an honest description of whatever goes on with this family until then but I will certainly be interested!

I think she wore white so it would play off the White House. Notice how a slice of the White House is in this photo when it didn't have to be.

Her photo ops at the White House will soon come to an end, so she's trying to get in as many as she can.

She will have plenty more photos taken at Christmas/Hanukkah to show "family" and "togetherness."

I feel so bad for my kid. She was born a few months before Ivanka's.

Ivanka does look like she’s lost some weight. She looked so much chicer with the shorter hair.

She was out of the picture for a few weeks - clearly she’s had a tummy tuck or lipo- you can’t lose that much weight only around your waist that quickly.

Maybe a bad stomach bug. It’s never happened to me but I have friends that spent a week or two vomiting with diarrhea and lost a quick 10-20 mostly from the waist. Would also explain why she looks like she failed standing lessons.
