That's funny because I didn't start any of it and don't. And yet peeps do, someone asked for an explanation. It wasn't too long where 4 or 5 posts already gave it. And the ironic part here is what started it all, a Cap Orange innocently said there might be some movement, and a Cap Blue couldn't help but jump on with "they're fine, sorry your kid got cut". Classic Capital. |
Nah, nah guy …you know why you’re here. Balto rules |
You can't rewrite all the posts on the board. They're here for all to see. |
So you can’t point to anything, Nah guy. Thanks. Here’s what I can point to: Posters who say Capital players aren’t any good (when stats show Capital has more pending commits to top ten programs than Hero’s and one fewer than M&D). Posters who trash Capital players who choose ivies (and say they’d never send their kids there, as if the choice was ever theirs to make). Posters who say ivies take Capital players just for their grades and don’t give them any playing time (when stats prove the exact opposite). And when all else fails, posters who resort to saying Capital players only achieve the success they have bec their parents are rich (because it’s quintessentially American to tear down what cannot be attained). Yeah, the posts are all there, and the record shows all of it. |
That's all true. Why do you believe they do that? |
Because you / they can’t stand that Capital, a newcomer, is competing with the legacy clubs. So you / they take cheap shots. Virtual sucker punches. On anonymous forums. Because that’s all you / they have. Which is sad. |
Hero’s will win Sunday; Capital will win recruiting. Which matters to you? |
Well, they's fine as none of the examples is me. But, don't think you've figured out the why yet. Onward. |
SWB 2-0
HG 1-1 CB 0-2 |
Anyone who doesn't have Heros going 3-0 is clearly just stirring the pot. |
Not to split hairs here, but even Hero’s can’t go 3-0 when there are only 2 games. |

Yeah, yeah whatever, 2-0. |
