What should I watch on maternity leave?

Anonymous
I'll be having a baby in a few weeks. I know from previous experience that all of the little projects I want to do on maternity leave are not going to get done. Instead, I'll spend many hours on the couch, bared to the waist, breastfeeding.
So with that in mind, please suggest some shows or series I can watch with a tiny person latched to me 24/7. What are your favorites?

Do you want family themed suggestions or just good TV? What kind of stuff do you like?

Friday Night Lights

Parenthood

The Tudors

Jane the Virgin

Thanks for the suggestions.

Don't need family themed stuff, as the other two kids will be at school/daycare. I liked the first 2 seasons of Game of Thrones, but hated the third and stopped watching (felt like violence porn). I'm a big fan of Orange is the New Black and Downton Abbey. I also love iZombie on the CW (watch it if you don't already). I love any kind of sci-fi series, but my time has been so limited that I don't often get a chance to watch more than what I've already listed. So I feel kind of lost as to what to watch this time.

Make sure you have Netflix, there's a TON to binge watch. Why not tell us what shows/series you like and we can better recommend!

This was a critical question for me for my second maternity leave!! It's such an opportunity.

Friday Night Lights would be my number one if you've never watched it.

Gilmore Girls if you want nothing super intense. Bonus: Newly available on Netflix.

And if you're up for it...best ever...The Americans. But this is an intense show.

My ex and I actually started watching Dexter during my maternity leave. Years later, when our daughter inherited our dark sense of humor, we worried a little that we might have created a future serial killer by watching it in her (teeny-tiny 2-week-old) presence. I think we also watched Breaking Bad, which I think is probably my favorite series of all time.

I watched basically all the documentaries on Netflix (my husband doesn't like documentaries)
