What should I watch on maternity leave?

Catastrophe is hilarious. It is about an American man dating an Irish woman in London, UK. The humour is witty and krass

I just became completely obsessed with Rectify. Seasons 1 & 2 are on Netflix, 3 is on Amazon.

I don't know if you want to watch something like that while breastfeeding though - do you get adrenalized with intense shows?

I kind of go through the roof, so maybe a calmer show might be better.

Sherlock Holmes (Cumberbatch edition)

Just watched Bletchley Circle and really like it.

Loved Broadchurch.

If you like scifi, have you seen the Battlestar Galactica re-make? It's a great show, even for people who don't generally like scifi.

This may sound a little crazy, but I like to watch the oldies on Me TV and Cozi channel. This morning I woke up early and watched The Patty Duke Show and I Love Lucy. I enjoy the shows from a simpler, more innocent time; they are much more relaxing than the shows of today.

Homeland
Catastrophe

I also watched a lot of movies that my husband had no interest in- the Hunger Games, Pitch Perfect 2, etc.

On my first maternity leave, I watched all of Call the Midwife (or, all that was available at the time), but found myself pushing during the labor scenes and cried at least once with every episode. So, in hindsight, I'm not sure it's the best for maternity leave...

I binged on BSG right before moving to a new town for work. I cried when it was over. I loved the chemistry between Starbucks and Apollo.
