Thos with HHI > $200k, how much do you spend monthly on alcohol - consumption at home?
It varies, but a ballpark figure is between $100-$150.
$20-$30 per year. Yeah, we don't drink much and I think alcohol is a complete waste of money.
Let's see -- box 'o chardonnay at $13 x way too many = Oh, who cares. Get me some more chardonnay.
Zero
No idea. Including going out? Maybe $150-200? We don't buy much at home. We have a kegerator and will buy cases of beer and liquor when we have parties, usually 2x/year. Don't drink wine. Go out maybe 1x/week, varying from a drink at dinner to a night out at a show with 3-4 beers.

Consumption, or collection?
I view wine as a hobby. DW views it as hoarding. |

One $50 bottle of wine per week. Two $20 bottles. Every other weekend is probably $50 worth of cocktails or drinks at dinner. It's gross, I know.
Probably $20/month on a handle of hard liquor from Costco liquor store. That includes me, spouse, and live in nanny.

About 50 bucks a week. This is two-three bottles of wine for us. Once we cut it out because I was trying to shed my last few pounds of baby weight and I did enjoy the extra money. But at the end of the day I decided fat jeans and wine make my life better!
You drink with the nanny? |
Four bottles of wine a month (one opened every Friday) so about $50 since we get inexpensive wine. We have a fully stocked bar still but DH will get a new bottle of bourbon a couple times a year. That's is for home. We get wine to bring to dinner parties and have some bright to us too.
