Ralph Northam yearbook page shows men in blackface and KKK robe

Anonymous
NP. I haven't read through all 37 pages to see if this was addressed, but here's what I think happened:

Northam made the inexcusable error of revealing just how heinous the far-left is pushing "abortion" when he talked about "keeping an infant comfortable" while the mother and doctors discussed whether to let it live or kill it. But.....Dems couldn't pressure Northam to resign over that, since all he did was expose that liberals consider letting living babies die "abortion." It would make Dems look bad.

So all of a sudden they found a photo of him when he was an adult, either mocking black people or, even worse, dressing up like someone who lynched them. NOW the Dems have a way to get rid of Northam while showing how they don't accept racism.

This is all about "aborting" babies after they are already born.

Where did you read this? Do you have a link? I believe you but want to read it too. Thanks.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/02/02/politics/northam-racist-yearbook-photo/index.html

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam has told a source he now believes it is not him in a racist yearbook photo and that he has no recollection of taking the photo, according a top Virginia Democratic source who spoke to the governor on Saturday.

Northam told the source he was in touch with some of his former Eastern Virginia Medical School colleagues, who said they believed many of the pictures in the yearbook were mixed up. Northam did not recall the picture being taken, he told the source, and said he was not involved in the production of the yearbook.

So the VMI yearbook with the nicknames “Coonman?”

Something happened there also?

Funny how ol Ralph always is racist but it’s not his fault.

It wasn't "coonman", it was "spoonman". Totally different.

If you believe someone who wore black face/KKk costume should never be able to be a governor, then you also believe people should never get second chances.

Or redemption.

I don’t think it fits with our Democratic Party platform/ we believe in second chances if they’ve proven themselves.

Is that what I am saying? I am saying when you run ads claiming to be the antithesis of racism and run domestic terrorism campaign ad of a hypothetical Gillespie supporter in a truck running down children, you better not have pictures in your past alluding to the fact it could be YOU behind the wheel.

This is probably futile because you probably don't care about the truth, but that ad was run by the Latino Victory Fund, not Northam. It would be illegal for Northam to coordinate with that group, so blaming him for it is very unfair.

I don't care about the truth. You chose the Republican you have years of history of censoring to respond to while many have called for his resignation. Got it, Jeff. You can't even stand when a Republican sides with Democrats. That is the Tea.

Can you please translate this into something resembling English? The only thing I could understand is that you don't care about the truth, which unfortunately is to be expected.

Interesting theory. So, you believe that someone within the Dem party just happened to find this photo within the last few days -- after it had been overlooked by incompetent Republicans trying to run Stewart's campaign - and pulled it out with perfect timing to get rid of him immediately after the abortion remarks earlier this week? Or, I suppose someone could have had this on him for some time and was holding it for the right moment. I suppose this could be it, but sounds unlikely to me.

Not racism but patronizing. If the Dems didn’t pander to their African American constituents, they could win few races in blue states.

White supremacists aren’t infiltrating the Dens, unlike the GOP. Racism is Southern Pride. Southerners are largely racists independent of party.

The most racist people are from the northeast. I never was called the n word until I went to college in Boston and I am from Alabama. Law school in NYC was even worse.

Sorry but you're wrong. The most racist people in the country are in the Pacific Northwest - Seattle, Portland, etc.

Having also grown up in the south (SC and AL) I can tell you the south is way more at ease with black people than the northwest.

of course! most of us learned this by the time we were 5 though.

Not sure if the shucks, I just don’t recollect being in that there picture defense will work (or should, given the racist and revolting image). I call for an investigation.

I’m guessing it was the latter. Maybe some guy who was like, alrighty, enough, it’s time to get this out there.

Well first, it wasn't Stewart who ran against Northam, was it? Wasn't that Gillespie?

And yes, I think Gillespies's incompetent op research people screwed up, but that the media had it - and sat on it. Until now, when Northam is a liability to Dems.

The only person from "the media" who has admitted having the picture and sitting on it is Dan Bongino who is a right-winger.

At ease, as long as they are in their place.

Get real, there is racism everywhere. That is why it needs to be called out and more education is needed to deprogram Americans who still don't understand that we are all the same, regardless of the color of our wrapping.

He said it was sent to him in October, 2018. I am betting the Dems or the media had found it long before that. No way to know unless somebody fesses up.
