Surf has a whole plan for arriving to VA early, go start breathing in the humidity and all, shoot…they have likely already arrived. Fortunately their playing style will help them to a 2-0 no frills win but any honest observers will agree BSC never has a chance but it won’t be a 10-0 or 6-0 or even 4-0 game. It’s too hot out there and it’s too competitive now for any teams to get Unioned!

Those surf players are dirty.
Union 2010 parents cry every time somebody touches their baby. Then blame the refs and call the other team dirty. It happened a lot this spring.
Hey VDA parent...Union parent here. Nope Surf is not dirty, whoever said that knows nothing about soccer. We just got manhandled.
Not VDA parent but you do cry every time a Union player is touched. Surf loss is not the player’s fault. Arrogance and lack of respect for the game by the Union coaches.

Now that you've seen what it takes to play at the highest level you'll be chasing it the rest of the time your kid plays.
Now you understand what people mean when they say size and speed alone don't win over tactics, defined set plays, and consistency.
What Surf does isn't magic but they do it very well. They develop players and teams the same way from u5 to t19. Because of this type of training players all know exactly what to do through repetition on the 1st, 2nd, and attacking 3rd.
SD Surf is beatable but you'll never do it with a kickball team. This is because when you play kickball every boot upfield becomes a 50/50 ball. Over time if Surf maintains possession longer than their opponent they'll score because they rarely make mistakes.
