It's never been fair in these circumstances and it never will be whether you're talking about McLean or anywhere else. That's what sucks about this merger... if you're a mid-pack or lower BRAVE ECNL player, you're in a tough spot. As a parent, it's your job to know how this works and have a plan B at least. It's really an acquisition of one company by another. So, the question is who retains the ECNL National license--and whose 'plan' is it really?

McLean has the ECNL Charter. Brave charter was good for two years and it will not be renewed by ECNL.

BRAVE players and families are very happy with MV as a coach. Just ask any on his current teams. Will be hard to get buy-in from many BRAVE families if he’s not a coach in the new partnership club.

Yes. They had a different coach when they were 6 though.

Two years ago Fairfax Brave was formed due to BRYC performance. Pretty much the club can’t compete. When they created Brave the license is good for two year with certain conditions that need to be fixed. Now it’s two years and Brave didn’t meet the fix the requirements. So Brave ECNL license will not be renewal. ECNL asked McLean to help out Brave
