It’s also the easiest way to make their own money. Why go to school to become an accountant or lawyer to grind for 50+ hours a week for low 6 figures when they can earn far more doing a lot less? They can get stupid rich influencing or singing.

I mean, even Aunt Becky saw the value in having her influencer kids attend college (and one of them did videos from their dorm room).

Becky didn't have nearly the net worth to set her kids up for life. Her kids have to work, get educated, find a career.

She had more than you would think, mostly from her husband. They were worth like 100 million.

So? they aren't near dead and have a few kids. That's not never get a job or have to support yourself money for the kids.

Really?

They're tacky, grasping weirdos. Second only to the Kardashians in their fakeness. Valuable brand my ass. Maybe across the pond, but not in the US.

You can say what you want by they are worth $600 million dollars. That seems valuable to me.

Right? If it was worthless Brooklyn wouldn’t be so mad.

Exactly and I just have to add- they are nothing like the Kardashians! The Beckham brand was built on top of both of their successful first careers (sports and music). They aren't "famous for being famous." They actually had some credibility.

People respect people who are self made. They have less tolerance for the spoiled kids acting up.

Meh. David Beckham is a great soccer player. Victoria Beckham was in a band that had its 15 minutes of fame and is now famous for being married to David and being really skinny.

How dare you disrespect my young adulthood like this.

Isn't it past their bedtime? (kidding, younger DCUMers, we love you)

Nicola also sued a dog groomer. Looking for the details on that one. Seeing rumors that Brookly is going to write a tell all memoir. My expectations are high after his photography book- who can forget the elephant? In all seriousness I really hope that Nicola and Brooklyn take a breath and there is no book. This is all a great distraction but it's truly a sad thing.

It’s been over 30 years since the spice girls were at the peak of their popularity. Maybe DCUM skews old but yeah, their fans are grandparents now.

I don’t think it’s bad if Brooklyn writes a books. He has the right to tell his own story and I’d be curious to hear more about what Victoria was like as a parent. Did she put her anorexic eating habits on the kids?

What? I’m 36 and loved the spice girls. I was in elementary school when they were popular. My sister is 8 years older and her friends were never really into. None of us are grandparents - what in the name of multiple generations of early teenage pregnancy are you talking about?

They were popular from 1996-1999. If you're 36 and loved the spice girls, you must have been a precocious fan to love them even before you were 10 years old.

Only on DCUM is 100+ million split between 2 kids not enough to produce layabouts since they'll have to get jobs.

Do you remember in middle school how we used to doodle all over our note books about some crush we had. That is what his body looks like.

It's almost like she's daring him or testing him by asking him to get more and more ridiculous tattoos at her request to prove his love. It's very school age.

The hate aimed at Nicola is typical of our sexist, misogynistic culture. Everyone hates women, even women and we really hate any woman who sticks her head up.

Nicola is known for being degrading to staff and generally spoiled and awful. See the wedding planner lawsuit and pushing the nanny down the stairs. She also had a prior relationship that has a lot of similarities- isolating the bf from his family. Being a feminist doesn’t mean that we can’t recognize bad behavior from some women.

Wait, she PUSHED HER NANNY DOWN THE STAIRS? How old was she? Where did you get this info from? I need more details.

This is a rundown of some of the awful behaviors (it doesn’t reach the wedding planner suit). It’s all over the place but despite the billionaire daddy, Nicola hasn’t been high profile enough for it to be headline news until recently.

That tik Tok says the nanny is now dead. But it's also just a rumor. Allegedly.

I taught fourth grade in 1999 and most of the girls in my class were aware of the spice girls and some were fans. I remember one of my students bringing a Spice Girls barbie to school! For some reason that is stuck in my memory. So yes, very likely this poster was a fan as a young girl.

Can I just say I am beyond sick of seeing Victoria in those stupid slip dresses? They are, in fact, not appropriate for every single black tie occasion.

They're lovely dresses but a poor choice for a MIL wedding gown.

I wonder when #FreeBrooklyn will start trending.

I think the Beckhams have always been very firm on having well-behaved kids and having a close family. I can't imagine Brooklyn is happy right now when he thinks about his relationship with his parents. I also don't see this marriage lasting.

David and Vickie are newbies at this and probably aren't letting go as much as they should. The wedding does mostly belong to the bride and that probably killed them. They probably need to back off.

Nicola's now putting it out there that the problems began with her choosing a non-Vickie-designed wedding dress. This seems improbable, but who knows. Rich celebrities are nutty.

Oh. Yeah that’s a little much to ask. I mean it’s ok to ask that for your own daughter but not someone marrying in. She could have gifted her a dress as an outfit change for the reception but not the main dress

It wouldn't surprise me if Nicola was rude about it, which may have been the main problem. I feel some sympathy for Victoria. It must be hard when your self-avowed "mama's boy" eldest falls for a spoiled mean girl. She should always have risen above it, of course. Parenting basics.

Honestly it's been established in legal filings that Nicola sued her wedding planners and asked them to hide things from the Beckhams. I think she probably wouldn't have been easy to work with on the dress. Victoria is a wonderful designer but surely knew Nicola had access to couture. I doubt she wanted to step in that wasps nest and she probably knew Nicola would work with a major fashion house that would make her happier anyway.
