| Would you keep it or turn it into the store? I unknowingly dropped a bag with a few tops in it ($40 worth) when folding my stroller and drove off. I realized my mistake 2 minutes down the road. I turned around fully expecting it to either still be there or someone to have turned it into the store since I was parked right in front. Sadly it was gone and no one turned anything in. I really couldn't believe it. Are most people really that awful? I'm a SAHM without a lot of discretionary money so it was something nice to do for myself and it totally freaking ruined my day. 2 days ago and still upset. |
| Sorry but it happened. Move on. |
| I would turn it in or leave it where it was. |
| Call the store again.. |
| It is too late but you probably should have checked trash bins. |
| I dropped a starbucks coffee on the parking lot. Disappeared when I came back 1 hr later. |
No, most people aren't that awful. All it takes is one, though. |
| Yes, I've turned found bags into the store before. |
| I would turn it in but the person who said check the trash had a good idea, too. |
| I'm sorry OP. Yes, I've turned in things like iPhones b/f. Not everyone is so awful. |
| Depends on if the tops are my style/size (I suck, I know...but it's the truth). |
you have to let go of this. I'm poor and realize it sucks, but two days is not healthy. |
+1 But there are a lot of selfish jerks out there (see PP). Doesn't hurt to call the store again. |
Yep, you totally suck. |
| Op. I checked the trash but the custodian had just emptied it. I asked him if he saw anything and he said no but he could have been lying who knows. This was in front of a Nordstrom rack. I even waited outside a few minutes to see if I could ask the people that parked around the area but I had my son with me and he was getting cranky so I had to just leave my contact information with the store just in case. It was really disappointing but I guess I will be more careful next time or just avoid putting things in the stroller basket. |
