| I haven't seen much on Madeira admissions. Does Madeira have a wait list? Or is it only "acceptance" or "rejection" letters? |

| DD got accepted with phone call and nice "Congratulations" packet in the mail. |

| Day. Straight As and above 90 Aggregate percentile on SSAT. |

| They have a wait list. My daughter was admitted off the wait list in a prior year (with scores nowhere approaching the PP's DD. So don't give up hope if you haven't heard or are wait listed. There can be movement). |

| I have heard that it is much tougher to get into Madeira as a day student than as a boarding student. They cap the day student population at 40% and the school has gotten very popular in this area recently. |

| And it also has become more difficult to get into the boarding school as well. There are more local boarders than there used to be--nice to be able to live on campus Monday-Thursday and be home on the weekends. No commute, enforced study hall time, etc. |
