I am really overcome with grief and would like words of kindness from people on how they have coped up with death and guilt in the past. I think off topic will provide more visibility. We can cross post in both if you think it is more appropriate.

Truthfully, you don't want your thread to get a lot of visibility. DCUM being DCUM, it is only a matter of time until someone responds very negatively and simply tries to hurt your feelings. Posters in the Pets forum are less likely to do that and your thread seems to be getting a significant number of responses.
