Exactly. The interview when he was in Spain promoting something and he states she wasn't born in Spain, but her "paternal grandmother" was from Spain.
He has a slightly strident / defensive tone in that interview.

That same trip he said she was "from Murcia." Seems like the "from Murcia" interview was first. She probably became worried there would be too many questions about that - them being in Spain and all - that might have been cause for more "probing" questions like wow, where in Murcia, where did she go to school? - then she told him "Well.....okay, so I'm not "from" Murcia, but my dad's mom is from Spain.

Hard to explain away that statement about the grandmother as us fat frizzy haired folks being "confused."

I understand wanting to "defend the one you love" (said in the same weird, whispery way he did in his instagram) but come on, this is not the way to do it.

Because AB defended himself in his weird video post, is the whispered line (defend the one you love) a direction to HB?

I think the media has painted her as crazy but there are some details about how her boyfriend went on record in sworn testimony to claim Alec was cheating on Hilary with Sabourin.

Given how they demolished the yoga student's reputation in the press and made his life hell, why would they let Genvieve speak? Why wouldn't Alec sick his lawyers on her to send her to Rikers?

Note too how Daniel Baldwin removed his kids from his ex wife's custody and smeared her in the press.

Lawyers and media can be bought. Sabourin may have a less sophisticated PR machine than AB and is not fluent in English but she makes a lot of interesting claimes that seem plausible.

According to those who knew her via yoga in NYC, she was Hillary with no accent at YTTP in 2010. She took a two week tip to Spain, came back as Hilaria with this goofy accent, ditched her old yoga friends - started at yoga Vida. So Alec post accent. However as stated here and else where her friend who is now in jail set her up to be in the same restaurant as Alec and we all know how he was obsessed and subsequently rejected by Salma.

Is 2010 also when HB was dating Edu the Elder? So, did she originally go to the intensive language class (or however she did immersion to get Edu back?

4/16/11 -- HB and friends posted a video of her instructing (search for tom_colletti_hilaria_thomas_baldwin_yoga_vida_nyc on reddit). HB has the accent and the terrible black hair dye.

I think what happened was she was trying to be Spanish for Edu and then set her sights on a bigger fish. It's so gross that she named her son Edu.

You can see it that way. It also reads as a sweet candid moment. It would be less problematic if she didn’t have so many barely clothed pic with her kids. But I see a mom doing yoga outside with a toddler doing a hug drive by. Mine definitely want to get involved when I’m working out. I’m not defending Hilaria, but perceptions of an image can be swayed by personal opinion. If this was a one off snap and not as common it would be nbd.
