Do you know if there is a minimum office space requirement for specific grade? Someone was telling me, for a GS-15, it was 125 sq ft or something like that. Any insights please?
What? I know GS 15s that work in cubicles.
Probably based on some union agreement
LMAO.
|
Hahahaaaaaaaaaa
Ours work in cubes like everyone else. You're insufferable |
Only SES have offices at my agency.
It can vary, but clearly you think yourself something special. I doubt your colleagues do.
Not. Maybe for your subagency with the currently available office space. You won't find that in writing anywhere.
+1. And you prob treat the admin or office assistant badly and that's who makes office decisions |
I have never heard of a minimum office space requirement in the federal government for specific grade levels.
If you have a collective bargaining agreement or Administrative Policy Circular in your agency, it may contain such terms. It varies based on the agency.
And I might add that we had such terms, but GSA kicked us out of our building and sent us to another building -- which didn't meet our contractual requirements.

My husband's agency recently moved buildings and there was a lot of fretting over the minimum cube space per grade issue. I do believe it was adhered to.
Go to the Pentagon and take a look at the space GS15s/O6s have.
It would be in your union CBA
