Recommend your premium sunscreen for my face

I've decided to finally be more careful and ditch the SPF 8 (which was high for me!). I am looking for a high-end sunscreen I can wear daily in the summer, with broad spectrum protection. Preferably lightweight and does not smell like coconuts. $75 or less per bottle. TIA.

Skinceuticals. It is sold at dermatologists offices and high end salons. I think it's about $40 for a decent size bottle. It lasts me about 3 months or so. SPF goes up to 45 and it is very light weight. I hated wearing sunscreen b/c it was so heavy and greasy but I wear this almost daily.

Premium, not so much, but I really like Neutrogena Healthy Defense daily moisturizer, SPF 45. I have very sensitive skin, and this both works and doesn't irritate.

My derm got me on their skin brightener and I love it. Will consider this, thank you.

I have acne-prone skin -- is it heavy or greasy?

Neutrogena Face Shield, SPF 70. My derm says it is as good as the fancy stuff. It is very light, not greasy.

A powder? How does that work, like when you sweat in the sun? Where can you buy it?

I've been using this for a long time too, and it's great--my skin can be oily and I don't have a problem with this--it's really like a light moisturizer, not a sunscreen. If I am going to the beach or something I use a traditional sunscreen, but for daily use this is a great product--and I live in Colorado, where because of the altitude and great weather we really need something good!

Colorscience powder has micronized zinc oxide. It's just the best. Zinc Oxide is the best sun protector.

I bought if from a salon in McLean/Tysons area.

PP here. I use the colorscience during the week to get a flawless complexion with sun protection. If I'm at the beach, I use philosophy.

I tried this product and didn't like it. Seemed to pasty and make my face a pasty white.

This stuff made my very sensitive acne prone skin break out, just fyi since I saw you ask about acne.

That said, I suspect it was more so because it irritated my sensitive skin that caused the breakout.

Kiehls water based sunscreen is hands down the most comfortable formulation I've ever worn on my face. Very thin, fluidy liquid. It's broad spectrum, SPF 25. No scent at all. Having said that, it uses all the chemicals instead of more natural things like zinc oxide. But it works, it's lightweight, and noncomodegenic.
