Which school?
I start - as of today, 27 - Buzz Aldrin. |
| 17, school in Ashburn nobody will care about because it's Ashburn |
| 22 in Annandale. |
| Why are you asking? In FCPS, all of this data is available - as well as averages. Look to the Class Size group website - they have the info posted there, or you can look at the FCPS Dashboard for averages, but that does not necessarily includes special education students who are in the classroom. |

21 in Arlington
APS posts class size by school and grade on its website. |
| 14. 2 teachers. Private full day. |
I've looked at that - it's way off. It says our schools has an average of 23 or 24, but we had 27 in K and now 29 in first. This year two grade levels have about 34 kids per class. There might be one grade level hovering around 23 or 24, but no way is that the average. |
Reckon that'll be going up, up, up.... |
That is correct, |
Just had to get a jab in huh. Enjoy sending your kid to a class of 29 kids after Labor Day! |
| 24 or 35 in Arlington. |
| Ugh, 24 or 25 not 35. |
You set it up with your defensiveness. Hey, just be proud about it, Ashburn. |
It'll be 35 in a couple years. |
| I didn't mind the large class sizes in kindergarten because there was a teacher and an instructional aide. However, the bigger class sizes later on with only 1 teacher is where the problem lies. |
