Evite or Paperless post for online invitations?

Going to do our first online invitation. Have always done paper invitations previously.

Which is better for a preschool invitation?

We do not plan to invite the whole class, just a handful of kids from school, neighbors and family friends.

My circle usually uses Paperless Post for kid and adult party invites. I think most of the RSVP features are the same between the two, but Paperless Post has a slicker interface and, in my opinion, much more charming designs to chose from. Some of the designs do cost a little bit of money per invite though.

We've gotten 2 invites this year thus far and they were both evites. When we do DD's we'll most likely do evites as well since we're inviting a mix of school, friends and family.

Not OP, but curious for myself why evite is better for an invitation list that includes a mix of people?

I've used evite for over 5 years. Agree paperless looks better, but with evite, I can track all my prior invites and contacts so I don't have to log into another tool.

Don't do paper. They get lost, lots of people don't check their boxes (absurd, but true), etc. Most of the preschool parties we get invited to are evite. I've gotten a couple paperless posts over the years for more formal parties. But one thing I don't like about paperless post is that because they cost money, friends tend to only send to one half of the couple. So the planning obligations, rsvp-remembering etc fall on that parent.

You can do this with Paperless Post as well.

My daughter is in Kindergarten and the school policy is that they do not give out the emails of other parents without their consent. So Im stuck sending the paper invitations that always get lost and are overlooked.

I use Paperless Post, but I like to order a custom invitation in digital file matching the theme of the party from Etsy, then upload it as the blank photo option as Paperless Post.

I always use Paperless Post- I find evites have too many ads

Lots of people have issues with evites being sent to spam and not getting delivered, so I would use paperless post.

We would drop off some in preschool cubbies, which may or may not get lost, and then mail the others (same with the post office). We have everyone's email addresses so it's just easier to track it all in one place. Plus we can send reminders specifically to those who haven't responded yet (multiple times if needed).

+1, except I'm a design geek and like to photoshop them myself. Much nicer than evite!

Ditto this. I can't even count how many parents have followed up with me for evites that I never got or got bumped into spam. Paperless post lets you track when someone has received the mail and doesn't seem to be as vulnerable to email filters. Plus it looks nicer.

I *really* like the fact that Paperless Post includes the party details (date/time/location) as text at the bottom of the original email, for people who don't want to click through. I like looking at the fun designs everyone picks, whether it's evite or paperless post or something else, but sometimes I don't want to click through right away and just what to know when the damn party is.
