Evite or Paperless post for online invitations?

Paper and if inclined email. I hate evites as I don't appreciate my email address being given out which creates spam. We do paper and include an email address designated for party only.

Paperless Post is much nicer!

I prefer evite most of the time since it's easier for me to track the parties we've been invited to and fewer steps to click through and the reminder email. Can you see all your paperless post invites in one place? The interface has always seemed like a pain to me, by maybe because I'm not as familiar with it.

I've started texting everybody directly. If I don't have a cell number, I send an email first. I get responses from almost everyone immediately.

Then, I send an evite or reminders as the party gets closer.

I'd find this annoying. I don't keep my cell on me except when I am out of the house. Email or send a paper. You don't need an answer right away. Not everyone can drop everything to respond.

Ditto this. I can't even count how many parents have followed up with me for evites that I never got or got bumped into spam. Paperless post lets you track when someone has received the mail and doesn't seem to be as vulnerable to email filters. Plus it looks nicer.

I used Paperless Post, and of the 15 email addresses I sent to, 3 emails (1 law firm, 1 corporate, and 1 government) sent the invites to spam. The parents said they have that issue with Paperless Post but not with evite. So it might just be a crapshoot. Probably the best advice is to use whichever parent lists a gmail or yahoo address, if you have that option.
