I didn't watch the original series, but I'm enjoying tonight's show.

| Ah, you must go back and watch at least 2 or 3 seasons! |
| Watched it and the previous shows. The first episode had to cram in a lot. Expect it to get better |
| Duchovny looks completely stoned in his performance. He is very flat. |
That's his thing. |

That's his thing. [/quote] I've been spending the storm watching old episodes. This is way worse than usual. |

I'm a pretty big fan and have been reading the reviews - it apparently gets much better after this episode. Episode two tomorrow is supposed to be good, and episode three next week is supposed to be even better.
Way too much exposition tonight, but they had to cram a lot in. That being said, Mulder and Scully are back! Never thought I would see another episode of the x-files live on my tv. I think DD's flat tone was supposed to be him being depressed? |
|
| Is there actually some new conspiracy here? I thought we covered all of this already in the series and movies |
| Joel McHale is distracting. I keep waiting for Troy and Abed to show up. |
| Loving tonight's episode! |
| I feel like Gillian Anderson cannot talk with all the botox, it's like she cannot move her face. Also her accent is slightly different. |
She's wearing a wig and apparently the wig tape is at least partially responsible for that "tight" look. Her voice is a little raspy in this episode, not sure why. |
Yeah, wayyyy too much forehead above that wig. |
| Watched the previous seasons, haven't started this one yet. On my list to start next week. |
