What is your problem? Where was the PP "advocating for the genocide" of anyone? Put up or shut up, clown. Where? The reckless use of "genocide" by the EXACT SAME PEOPLE dictating who can and cannot use the term is absolutely mind-boggling - where the F do you find this chutzpah? Telling others that the ACTUAL ACTIONS of Israel and the IDF for the past 75 years, and the ACTUAL WORDS of multiple Israeli cabinet members just these past few weeks (which are straight out of the Genocide 101 textbook), cannot be called genocide or genocidal intentions, according to people like you. But someone on a forum like this, saying what the PP said, is actually expressing genocidal intent? WTF. Seriously, you shouldn't be allowed to wander around in civilized society. if you are not already in Israel, please leave, go there, and stay there. You're a bad fit for America. |
m Thank you from me too. |
Israel invaded Egypt in 1956 and 1967. Israel invaded Lebanon in 1982. 1973 and 1948 are on the Arab states though. Just calling balls and strikes. |

I think what some people are failing to realize is that the brutality of the attacks on 10/7 really changed things.
I don't like Netanyahu. I think he's a cynical and deeply corrupt hack. I don't like the settlers in the West Bank. Think they are awful colonists. Don't care for the the ultra-orthodox either. Ignorant, cruel, racist, misogynists who tend to be very parasitic and live off social welfare. But the Hamas attacks on 10/7 really changed things. It's like 9/11. We spent 20 years in Afghanistan and Iraq. Hundreds of thousands of people died. Was that a great idea? No. But Hamas changed things with those attacks. The invaded, were absolutely barbaric, and started a war. And wars are unpredictable and cruel. Just take a look at Ukraine. For Russia, it was supposed to be a 3 day intervention. 2 years later and more than 300,000 Russian casualties. Things don't go to plan when you start a war. As the US learned when they invaded Iraq. As Russians leaned when they invaded Ukraine. As Palestinians in Gaza are learning when they invaded Israel. It was an incredibly stupid decision to invade Israel and do this. |
and just like Putin, Bibi has no out. There is no globally acceptable end game for Israel under its current policy. There is no conceivable tomorrow. Luckily for Israel the Palestinian political leadership is unbelievably stupid and self defeating. Unfortunately for Israel so is Bibi and his government. |
Unfortunately, when those carrying the mantle of Zionism dug a grave to bury Palestinian hopes for freedom in their homeland, they forgot to turn the page in the how-to manual and they forgot to follow the next step: build a second grave to bury your own dreams of a peaceful existence. When you take away hope, it seems bizarre to expect that those deprived of that hope won't spend every waking hour thinking of ways to strike back at you. This pearl clutching over 10/7 is bizarre. Of course it was horrific. Of course it should be condemned in the strongest possible terms. But acting surprised? Really? Didn't ya'll ever watch Star Wars? |
I am a NP. Yes, I am surprised at the scale of the brutality of October 7th attack. Yes, I did believe that Palestinians want to live in peace in their own state and that’s what they are fighting for. I believed that there is a viable two state solution and a path to lasting peace. I no longer believe it. October 7th changed that. Call me stupid, call me naive, don’t care. I now believe that destroying Israel is the endgame. Why does Hamas not release the hostages and stop the killing of its own people when they say that they are fighting for their people? There is no peace possible with Hamas. I now don’t believe that peace or an independent Palestine will happen in my lifetime and I probably have about 50 years left in me. |
Nope. You have never, not once, been open to seeing the atrocities that Israel has imposed for decades on the indigenous people in the region. If you didn’t enjoy the veil of anonymity, I’m certain it would be plain to see. |
1956 was because of Egyptian hostilities and an illegal ship blockade. Israel invaded, to get Egypt to reopen the Strait. 1967 was for the exact same reason as 1956. 1982 was a result of PLO conducting attacks on Israel from Lebanon. So again, Israel didn't actually start any of those either, and it's pretty dishonest to try and pretend Egypt and Lebanon were just sitting there minding their own business, doing nothing wrong, to have Israel suddenly attack them for no reason at all. But that dishonest approach seems to be the only like of argumentation the pro-Palestine people have. |
Is that a cultural thing with Arabs? Poke, jab and punch someone continually until they finally get angry, turn around and slap you to the ground in retaliation. And then, you pick yourself up from the ground and say "HOW DARE YOU! I WILL RETALIATE!!!" - that's basically what the Houthis are doing right now, too. It's just bizarre and shows massive cognitive dissonance. Invasion of Gaza WAS the retaliation - for 10/7. Bombing of Houthi military sites WAS the retaliation - for attacking US vessels, for attacking commercial ships. Sorry but you don't get to pretend like you did nothing wrong and that it's somehow unfair, because that's not at all what happened. I can't imagine walking around and punching some random person in the face, and then when they get angry and hit you back for it, you say "NOW I AM AGGRIEVED AND MUST RETALIATE!" No, dude. You started it. |
You are so tough now. It’s astonishing to see the lack of self awareness, though. |
Palestinian logic: "Mom! He hit me back first!" |
You lack the self awareness to admit and acknowledge that all of this is because Arabs have been trying to exterminate Israeli Jews for 75 years. Fortunately they haven't been very good at it. |
Pretty much. They are still holding all those hostages. They are still firing rockets at civilians. There's been absolutely no remorse for the atrocities they committed. What's the Mike Tyson quote - Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face. Well, Palestinians in Gaza are now getting punched in the face for starting this. What's the plan now? |
